Diana is passionate creating community empowerment through resourcing, access, and education!
She currently is a co-organizer for the Laru Beya Collective in Far Rockaway, NY, aids in creating experiences for 57 creative community in NYC, supports work with Kinding Sindaw, and previously ran the Global Caveat and PhDBalance virtual communities.

LARU BEYA COLLECTIVE
Laru Beya Collective is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the historically excluded youth of the Far Rockaways through surfing.
Our goal is to develop our mentees into well-rounded, confident, and environmentally conscious adults.
We believe community service plays an important role in achieving these changes, as such our goal allows for an expanded worldview; the development of leadership skills, and the confidence to realize how our actions have a direct positive impact on our community.
